Episode 39: What Having a Healthy Foundation in Your Soul, Life, and Body Could Do for You | Fatima Punja

TUNE IN: APPLE PODCASTS | SPOTIFY | STITCHER

So often we are already as health and wellness practitioners often looked at as perfect. Everything in our life is going just great. But we’ve always had some sort of limiting beliefs, or other life circumstances to overcome.

Fatima Punja has been on her health journey her entire life. She uses her personal experiences as well as her professional experiences and everything she has been through to lead her to focusing her life and career on holistic wellness.

Today I have Fatima Punja, an integrative medicine nurse, who helps women manage stress and anxiety through holistic and balanced living practices. Her personal experience with immense grief, loss, divorce, unemployment, health issues, and more lead her to become a spiritual life coach, meditation instructor, and mindfulness therapy, practitioner, passionate about helping her clients create a life of inner peace regardless of their outward life circumstances.

As an integrative consultant and the founder of spirit life,  Fatima believes that holistic wellness is the foundation to creating a purpose-driven, balanced, thriving lifestyle! She is an active member of the American Holistic Nurses Association and the Complementary Therapist Accredited Association. She is currently serving as an integrative medicine nurse at the Nation’s number one Oncology Research Hospital

After her father passed away during her childhood she had to dive into a lot of tough questions at a young age that most people don’t really think of.

All through school she was focused on mental and physical health. Through her own personal journey, she became interested in spirituality.

Finding her spirituality led her to start her business which made her feel as though she had really found her purpose in life.

She wants people to see that when you have a healthy foundation in your soul, mind, and body, then you have those tools and resources to face whatever it is that comes your way. And yes a lot can come your way, but those experiences are necessary to get to where you are!

In today’s episode, we chat about the 5 pillars that Fatima focuses on with her clients, the limiting beliefs she overcame, the obstacles she has faced as a nurse trying to live a healthy lifestyle, and what success means to her. She also gives us one of her healthy tips for people that are either new into starting their morning routine or creating a change in their life with spiritual practice or nutrition.

I hope you enjoy this conversation as much as I did!
