 She is an emotional wellbeing consultant, leadership coach, speaker, and corporate trainer who helps business leaders build their own and their employees’ emotional resilience, so they can weather any storm. After working over 20 years with leaders across four continents from AT&T to Walmart as a consultant and corporate trainer, Cathy became the CEO; Founder of Sensational Leadership, where she now helps company leaders move through their emotions productively to prevent mental health declines such as anxiety, depression, and burnout. She also helps organizations increase their employees’ morale, productivity, and adaptability to change with her 5 Steps to Emotional Resilience and her Best Practices for Leading Remote Teams Workshop. In addition to completing PhD studies in Instructional Systems Technology, Cathy earned a Masters degree in Education. She is a Certified Emotional Intelligence Trainer and Conversational Intelligence® Coach. 

In today’s episode, we talk about emotional resilience, burnout, and why coworker communication makes a company more productive. 

Cathy also emphasizes the difference between emotional resilience and emotional intelligence which is something she teaches her clients about.

We talk also talk about the importance of making time for ourselves to help with stress reduction. Even coaches sometimes have a hard time doing this, but we are constantly learning too, and that’s how coaches help their clients! From their own experience!
