Rejection feels like a punch in the gut. It doesn’t matter if it’s your personal life or professional. It doesn’t matter if it happened last week or last year (or maybe before that). Rejection is painful, embarrassing, and even scary.
You may think, “What’s wrong with me?” “What if I never succeed?” “I’m not cut out for this.” And to make things worse, rejection can give you a fear of taking risks and trying new things. So if you don’t know how to handle rejection, it can cause you to miss out on amazing life experiences.
That’s why I’m talk about rejection today. In this short episode, I’m getting personal. I’m sharing a story about a rejection I went through years ago that really hurt me – and how I healed from it. I also reveal ways I’ve jumped out of my comfort zone and tried new things (even though it was scary).
