TUNE IN: APPLE PODCASTS | SPOTIFY | STITCHER
Why is stress management so important?
Today, I want to share with you about this topic and the impact it can have on your health, and how finding your cause can help you with your stress. For me, it’s bringing awareness to kidney disease and cancer.
March 3rd marks a very important day for me. That was the day my father died 5 years ago. And it changed my life forever.
My dad was the hardest worker I knew. He always seemed so happy going to work. I always thought “That’s what I wanted! I want something that will light me up inside!”
He would work all the time but then come home and watch tv. He was almost like a robot.
Whatever I was into, my dad would be there. He was always there. He was a great dad, but he wasn’t great to himself. His soul was hurting. Emotional stress can do that to you.
I picked up my dad’s habit of taking medicine for everything. It was a quick fix, a bandaid. But what I needed to start doing was start with my stress and managing it. So in today’s episode, I am giving you some things you can start doing right now - other than going to a doctor - to manage your stress!
So today I want to talk to you about is ways to handle stress but also understanding that preventative care is possible. It doesn’t matter your age, you can start now. That’s so exciting, and why I do the work I do!
I want to explain my journey dealing with emotional stress, and also things I learned from my father.
I share 3 simple tools to manage your stress:
1. Physical Body Awareness
2. Nourishment of the Soul with Nutrition
3. Emotional Awareness

To honor my father's memory, I'm raising money for the Kidney Cancer Association! My goal is to reach $2,000.
The Kidney Cancer Association (KCA) mission is to be the universal leader in finding the cure for kidney cancer. No matter how big or small your donation is, you have the power to join this amazing cause and help people like my father. Please click the link below to donate.
