Episode 18: Cultivating Curiosity Through Mindfulness | Jayme woj

TUNE IN: APPLE PODCASTS | SPOTIFY

Today I get to interview Jayme Woj - Actor, fight designer, writer, producer, and audiovisual artist known as Maybe soon. Drawing from his experiences as a zen practitioner and mindfulness activist, Jayme aims to create art that cultivates mindful catharsis and reflection of our shared human condition.

Jayme Woj shares how he doesn't stay locked in the past but focused on the present as much as possible and enjoys what is happening in his life right now. He focuses on doing the things that bring happiness and joy to his life. One of the things I love about Jayme is he is always looking to grow personally, and he is actually the one who inspired me to begin my podcast!

He is always interested in different cultures and new experiences and learning as much as possible. So many times people judge things before even trying them and miss out on new experiences that could really grow and develop you as a person.

We talk about his new film Everfall, his new project Maybesoon, what his plans are for the future as New York opens back up, and all things zen. Learn ways how you can start building your own zen practice. The beauty is it looks different for everyone.

Highlights:

(14:50) The Power of Meditation and Collaboration

(27:43) Finding Creativity and Mindfulness Amid Adversity

(41:12) Gratitude and Excitement in Community
